Our regions often have sub-par access to essential services, like aged care. 

We need more and better-aged care services in the Mid-North to meet significant local demand and ensure our seniors and their families have the services and support they need.

That’s why an elected Dutton Liberal Government will invest $40,000 to improve access to aged care in the greater Balaklava region.

Connecting the existing Senior Citizens’ Centre with the main Walara aged care facility will create a ‘one-stop-shop’ for aged care advice and services in Balaklava and surrounding communities. The project will include appropriate fit-out of the facilities and the hiring of a part-time support worker
